Global Warming

Global warming is kinda of an interesting issue. It seems to be another one of those issues, like evolution where the line between the sides is usually made between "religion" and "science". Although there were plenty of scientists who were convinced global warming did not exist, that has mostly changed.  I think the belief in global warming is such an issue because we don't really experience the effects of it day to day. But if you look at the statistics, the effects of global warming are quite scary. No, we aren't feeling them right now, which can convince a lot of people that they don't exist. But if we continue treating the planet the way we have been, with complete disregard for it, if we continue driving 3 cars per household that each get terrible milage, if we keep wasting materials, burning up the worlds fossil fuels, and expelling waste into the air, then we WILL see the "big" effects. We will see the effects like raised sea levels that will wipe out millions of people etc. 

So wouldn't it just be better to take a little more care with the way we treat the planet so these things don't happen? If its a possibility, we should just be more careful so that possibility is minimized. 

The past two weeks have just been school stuff and after school stuff. Pretty boring. Been riding at this new riding place for a while cause my barn is in limbo. I actually like the new barn, but im not sure if we're going to make it the permanent new barn. We shall see...
