I have a lot of favorite places, but I think one of my top spots has to be Boston.
Boston was my hometown for 6 years and is still very close to my heart. The city has a very different energy then out here, but its home to me still. I really miss the snow. The winters are long, but we can end up with almost four feet of snow on the ground and its amazing; the whole world is white. I also just love the downtown part. Theres the waterfront, with the piers and all the boats, and the squawking of sea gulls. Theres the North End, which is the Italian part of Boston and has tons of restuarants, stores, and delicious coffee shops with gelato and canolis. Newton Center is really cool, because we can ride the bus in without any adults and go for ice cream or to eat lunch or go to clothe stores. From there we can take the T (subway) downtown, or anywhere really and its safe enough to go on our own.
I can go on and on about all the places in Boston that mean something to me, because I have made so many memories. Its an amazing place.
Another very special place to me in the US is the Outer Banks on North Carolina. Every summer since forever, the entire side of my dads family goes down for a week to hang out at the beach. It is the best part of the entire summer and we've made all these traditions along the way. The weather is almost always really great and we spend all day in the pool or at the beach. I love hanging out with my cousins.
Those are some of the few AWESOME places in the US
